Since its founding in 1986 Barrington Children's Choir has offered young choristers in Chicago's northwest suburbs a chance to build friendships and community while developing their talents. The program is built upon the vision of our founding director Peggy Crawford: unite the purity and simplicity of children's voices with the finest traditional and contemporary choral music.
Today the organization is under the direction of Tom Vendafreddo. Tom and his conductor colleague Joyce Haqq direct choristers grades two through 12.
Barrington Children's Choir presents two annual concerts: one in December and one in the spring. We welcome you to experience our group at one of these performances. Look for additional information on our website regarding the concert and ticket sales as the concert dates draw near.
